비싼 악기의 연주회-String Sextets of Brahms-음악회
굉장한 악기로 연주한다기에 지난 주말에 다녀왔습니다.
70mm-200mm를 안 가져가서 안절부절못했던 음악회였습니다.
1714년과 1743년에 재작한 첼로와 바이올린으로 연주한 음악회.
여기 올린 음악은 그날 연주한 챌로 곡인데 이날은 브람스 것을 주로 연주했습니다.
하루종일 들어도 좋을 것 같아서 올려봅니다.
이날 연주한 브람스 곡은 다음에 올리겠습니다.
이 음악회에서도 독지가가 소장한 비싼 악기를 대여해줘서 이루어진 음악회입니다.

"For this performance, the Salastina Music Society has been loaned
two stunning violins by Dr. Bill Sloan:
A Stradivarius of 1714 (the Leonora Jackson), and a Guarnerius del Gesu of 1743.
Principal cellist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic,
Robert deMaine, will be playing the General Kyd Stradivari."
바이올리니스트인 정경화도 이 스트라디바리우스 바이올린을 가지고 있다가,
과르네리 바이올린을 사기 위해 팔아버렸다고 합니다.
25만 불에 팔았다고 합니다.
그리고 그 언니인 정명화 는 스트라디바리우스 첼로를 하나 소유하고 있습니다 .
이들 악기는 모두 대한민국의 국보가 됬다네여.
이 여인이 들고있는 악기는 1714년 Stradi.입니다.
Robert deMaine(가운데 첼로)이 연주하는 악기는 1743년 Guarneri입니다.
대개 격렬한 연주를 즐기는 이들이 스트라디바리우스보다는
과르네리를 더 선호하는 경향이 있습니다.
남성적이고 스케일이 큰 바이올리니스트'로 평가받는 정경화가
과르네리를 선호하는 것도 같은 맥락에서 해석할 수 있습니다.
전설의 바이올리니스트 니콜로 파가니니가 죽는 날까지 사용했던 악기는
과르네리 델 제수 캐논이였습니다.
이날 연주회는 Sextet으로 하였습니다.

In partnership with the Southern California Association of Violin Makers,
Salastina Music Society will be co-presenting the String Sextet No. 2 in G Major by Johannes Brahms.
For this performance, the Salastina Music Society has been loaned two stunning violins by Dr. Bill Sloan:
A Stradivarius of 1714 (the Leonora Jackson), and a Guarnerius del Gesu of 1743.
Principal cellist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic,
Robert deMaine, will be playing the General Kyd Stradivari.
During the event, a discussion with distinguished experts
and the musicians about the instruments will be held.
There will also be a viewing period after the concert.
In this popular format designed for both new and veteran concertgoers,
Salastina Music Society will take the audience on a guided tour through the work,
filled with musical demonstrations, anecdotes, and historical context,
before a complete performance of the work.
