Ghetto boys: 게토 (유대인 隔離 居住区) 의 소년들-아버지의 얼굴은 불신으로 가득 찼다.

In their tattered rags the two boys smile for the camera, but the man in the centre, most probably their father, has a look of distrust etched across his face

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

사진가는 나치의 영광과 승리주의 사진을 주로 찍었지만 여기서 처럼 피정복민의 참상을 찍기도 했다.

 

While most Jaeger's photographs focus on the glory and triumphalism of the Reich, here he has chosen instead to capture the misery of the conquered people instead

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

깨끗한 의상, 깔끔한 헤어 스타일로 보아서는 게토의 유대인이 아닌 것 같지만 자세히 보면 옷깃에 다윗의 별이 붙여 있는 것을 알 수 있다.

With their clean clothes and hair neatly coiffured, these three young women do not, at first glance, appear anything like Jaeger's other subjects. But look closer and you find a star of David on the coat of the girl on the left

Fate: 라인하르트作戦을 당할 운명

 

In 1942, as part of Hitler's 'final solution' the Nazis began Operation Reinhardt, the plan to eliminate all of Poland's Jews. In the spring of 1942 the Kutno Ghetto itself was 'liquidated'

폴란드 등 東유럽의 게토(유대인隔離居住区)를 解体하고、
거기에 살고 있는 유대인을 三大絶滅収容所로 移送해 殺害한 絶滅計画이다
