WHO IS JIM YONG KIM ?

Here is a video of his speech at a Korean-American gathering (before his nomination to head the World Bank). I’d say, it is “a must” for all Koreans and, especially, we the Korean-Americans. I will be very surprised if you have many other satisfying ways to spend 28 minutes of your life. [FYI, early in the video, he talks about a conversation he had with his father on his return home from Brown. I saw a video of his accounting of the same episode several years ago. In the present version, he left out one important element: Before his father told him to get a medical degree first, he (the father) said: “Look, you are a China man . . .in his own words.”
